02Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

• Handling enquiries.
• Processing requests for quotations.
• Communicating with customers in relation to our services.
• Preparing contracts.

The processing of personal data is based on steps taken prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and the legitimate interests of the controller in handling enquiries and managing customer relationships.

03Personal data processed

The following personal data concerning individuals contacting us and contact persons of customer organisations may be processed:

• First and last name
• Organisation and location
• Role
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Contents of the enquiry
• Communications related to the enquiry

04Sources of personal data

Personal data is collected directly from the data subject when they submit a contact form through our website or contact the controller by email or telephone.

05Retention period

Personal data submitted through the contact form is retained for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of contact. Data may be deleted earlier if there is no longer a justified need to retain it.

If the enquiry results in a customer relationship or the conclusion of a contract, personal data may be transferred to Taitotekniikka Oy’s customer register. Thereafter, the processing of personal data will be subject to the privacy policy applicable to the customer register.

06Disclosure and transfer of personal data

Personal data is not routinely disclosed to third parties. Data may be processed within the information systems and services used by Taitotekniikka Oy for the purpose of handling enquiries.

Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.

07Data security

Personal data is protected through appropriate technical and organisational measures. Access to personal data is restricted to employees of Taitotekniikka Oy and representatives of service providers who require such access in order to perform their duties. Access rights are granted on a need-to-know basis, and personal data is processed confidentially.

08Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to:

• Access their personal data.
• Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of personal data where permitted by applicable legislation.
• Object to processing or request restriction of processing.
• Request the transfer of their personal data from one system to another in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Responses will generally be provided in writing to the address indicated by the data subject or electronically, where this is secure and the data subject has chosen electronic delivery. The controller will verify the identity of the requester before disclosing any personal data.

All requests should be addressed to the controller. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that their personal data has been processed unlawfully.

09Automated decision-making and profiling

Personal data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
